A brief bio:
Kevin Boldenow is a professional photographer specializing in capturing dramatic landscapes, as well as figurative works. Kevin’s experimentation with infrared film has led it to become his medium of choice. The connection of light, heat, and shadows on landscape and the human body create a surreal, unnoticed beauty to come forth. Simple elements of striking beauty become more complex and thought provoking.
Too often we take the wonders of nature for granted, never reaching outside of our own backyard to see life in a different perspective. Kevin’s figurative works are reminiscent of the classical artists, where the human figure is intertwined within a natural setting.
Kevin’s work has been displayed and juried around Florida. Though color will remain a part of his work, Kevin believes that both black & white and infrared will provide the most impetus.
